Argentium Silver .940 is an excellent alternative to Sterling Silver, at a comparable cost. The alloy is made up of germanium & a smaller amount of copper than in Sterling Silver, so it produces less fire scale, it melts to a smoother ball and is also more tarnish resistant than Sterling Silver. Argentium contains a higher amount (.940) of pure silver, and is nickel-free, so it is therefore an excellent option for customers with metal sensitivities.
