Argentium Silver .940 Fancy Spiral Clasp, joiner for jewellery making, 1mm/18gauge.

My Spiral Clasps, including jumprings, have been handmade, lightly flattened, filed, hardened and tumbled for several hours to a smooth and shinny finish. Ends and jumprings are left open/unsoldered.

Whole clasp set (connected) measures approx 50mm long including the 2 jumprings. See image. Approx 14mm wide at most. Wire thickness is 1mm/18 gauge/0.040"..Jump rings are one each of a 4mm and 8mm ID jumpring.

Being a handmade item, you will often find irregular markings, or minor differences in the pieces.

Argentium Silver .940 is an excellent alternative to Sterling Silver, at a comparable cost. The alloy is made up of germanium & a smaller amount of copper than in Sterling Silver, so it produces less fire scale, it melts to a smoother ball and is also more tarnish resistant than Sterling Silver.

Argentium contains a higher amount (.940) of pure silver, and is nickel-free, so it is therefore an excellent option for customers with metal sensitivities.
